Working on Conflict transformation with the Kenyan Community Radios
Through our engagements with the Community radios, we endeavor to use radio as an effective tool to change people’s attitudes and behavior towards using violence as a means to resolve conflicts but instead use Non-violence means to resolve conflicts. We aim to transform negative destructive conflicts into positive constructive conflicts in our communities and Kenyan society at large.

40 community radios are engaged in Umoja Radio for Peace program i.e. 22 public community radios and 18 catholic radios of the KCCB –Waumini communications enhancing our outreach to about 6 – 10 million listeners across 47 counties in Kenya.
Working together with community radios on covid 19 pandemic sensitization
40 community radios are engaged in Umoja Radio for Peace program on fact checking and awareness raising campaign on corona virus pandemic. This campaign targets 22 public community radios and 18 catholic radios of the KCCB –Waumini communications enhancing our outreach to about 6 – 10 million listeners across 47 counties in Kenya.
